Our apartment was spacious, clean with all the amenities that we needed - fully stocked kitchen, deck, washer, dryer, wonderful layout of the apartment, television, phone, internet access, movie rentals and a library for borrowing books. The complex is right on the beach, with a 20 m heated lap pool. The area is very quiet and relaxed. The managers were very helpful and informative about any and all nearby attractions and tours and were very helpful with booking and making recommendations.
Cairns - take a full-day reef tour out to the reef to snorkel. Walk on the beach between Kewarra and Palm Cove (on either side of Clifton Beach) - better during low tide for walking. Shop at Kuranda for authentic Australian gifts. Relax! Head to Cairns if you want more hustle and bustle and activities to chose from.
