We found our stay at Harbour Lights very enjoyable. The apartment had a hint of luxury without the high price tag. Good security, lots of space, nice pool ,local to everything and great harbour views. We did feel the rooms and halls were a little sterile and felt a little colour (pictures etc) through out would have been nice but not essential.
Although a regular traveller to Nth Qld we have not had the opportunity to stay in Cairns. Rather staying on the tablelands or Daintree area. However we were very impressed with the Esplanade and local shopping available in the town centre. The airport, although a pain at the moment, shows promise with the new sections well under way.
