This is an older style basic apartment. The managers were friendly and helpful. I thought it was overpriced in comparison to the newer places that are available. The air con. Was old and noisy making TV viewing difficult. The decor was dated. Although wireless internet was available, we were unable to connect. Austar was available and the reception was generally good but at times there was interference.
The pool was great.
Cairns is a great place to visit.We spent 7 days and could easily spend 12 months there is so much to see and do there.A drawback is the fact that everything is so expensive because it's a tourist haven and prices are marked up because they know people will pay.A real rip off.
It would be great if a free shuttle bus operated around the CBD and you could hop on and off.
