Perfect accommodation for our young family (two boys 10 months and 2 1/2 years). The direct, and very safe, access to the pool from our apartment made swimming a breeze. It was in perfect vicinity to the Macrossan Street hub and to Marina Mirage. We only needed to hire a car for a couple of days as most of the attractions were in walking distance, or had a transfer pick-up.
Hartley's Crocodile Adventure was great. Wished we timed afternoon tea at the gorgeous Silky Oaks resort. It's a must to be On the Inlet for sunset and a superb dinner (and George the Groper). If you're there on a Sunday make sure you take the kids on the train ride. The Sunday Markets are lovely.
