Nice place, but not for singles!

This place is like a time share, basically an aparment. The aparment has a mini garage, washer/dryer and fully furnished. It's pretty clean. Its a nice and comfy place but far from Nightlife. If you are single or unmarried dont stay here, its too boring, pay a little more and stay in Cairns. This place is more for elderlys or familes that are here to relax. This place is about 10-15 mins walking distance to the beach and the 8 restaurants that they have along the beach. It's quite dark at night, but pretty safe to walk to all the restaurants, but if you stay here RENT a car! The bus ride into town (Cairns) is about 30-45 minutes and the cost is about 9 AUS for round trip. The guy at the reception desk is very nice and he will help you book your tours and taxis.

The restaurant selection in Palm Cove is very limited and overpriced! There are 2 overpriced minimarts, so you are better off taking a bus ride to Cairns and stocking up on all your water, goodies and veggies. It's quite dark at night, but pretty safe to walk to all the restaurants, but if you stay here RENT a car! As I mentioned before, there is no nightlife for those that like to party. This place is about 20 mins walking distance to the Tropical Zoo.

Also, if you decide to go to the great barrier reef, most packages will charge you a fee per person to pick you up from Palm Cove.

Book The Villas Palm Cove, or Coastal Accommodation and Hotels.
