What a find! I almost don't want to write this because I'm scared to find next time it's booked out and twice the price! Lovely, spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and pillows, quiet and with an uninterrupted view of the sea. Clifton is just between Trinity and Palm Cove so avoids the hustle and bustle, but is only minutes away. Local restaurant rates if you want to stay in the beach.

Rusty's market in Cairns for produce. A hotdog at the german place in Kuranda - must have sauerkraut! The rainforest walk through Mosmon Gorge, followed by a swim in the river, followed by On the Inlet in Port Douglas for drinks and good food followed by the groper feeding show- as in the fish. Also a trip up to Rex Lookout in the evening to see the shooting stars, take a rug to sit on.
