Highly Recommended but with some major reservations

I was disappointed to find on the night of arrival (a Sunday) that the hotel restaurant and bar area was booked out for a private function (a wedding I think). Whilst there was presumably a noise curfew, as the music stopped about 10. 30pm, I did not expect at a resort named "Sea Temple and Spa" that I would have to tolerate "doof doof " music at any hour of the day or night. For people who want a really quiet, relaxing break I would suggest that you specifically check re function bookings during your stay.

I do find it surprising and disappointing that a resort that markets itself as a relaxing spa type resort takes any function bookings at all.

Palm Cove is quiet, with a number of good restaurants. The best known, most expensive of these needs to realize that for capital city prices, visitors expect capital city service, which they most certainly do not get. Just because executives are on holidays does not mean they are prepared to accept poor service. "Slow and indifferent" is not the same as "relaxed".

Book Luxury Sea Temple, Luxury Holidays (Private Apartment), or Coastal Accommodation and Hotels.
