we were impressed with the beachfront aspect and the quiet location. It was not far from Palm Cove when we wanted somethong more lively.
The local bus service was a short walk away and easy to use and the service was frequent when we wanted to go further afield. The pool was great and the gardens lush and well tended.
the managers were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
the apartment was spacious and decorated well with all the necessary appliances and we liked the large screen TV.
we will stay here again.
The only thing that was any problem was that we didn't have a car and it was a bit of a walk to the supermarket and we used the local taxi to transport the groceries back.
Clifton Beach was a nice quiet location but it was easy to travel to Cairns or Port Douglas on the bus. we did the outer reef tour, the Kuranda sky rail tour and the local Cairns city sights. The pick up from your door service was great.
we enjoyed many beach strolls in our unwinding period and it was great to sit on the balcony and soak up the seascape.
There was a lot to do and see if you wanted to do that but we just needed to mainly chill out.
